HighWater Designs Image Viewer -
HWRoam
HWRoam is an efficient and effective
soft proofing system that allows users of the Torrent or any
Harlequin PC RIP to view and approve output on screen prior to
imaging. With the addition of this advanced piece of technology
your clients will be able to view and approve the job before
it is output.
HWRoam offers essential flexibility,
enhancing and improving the pre-press workflow. The Harlequin
RIPs internal PageBuffer format on PC RIPs or TIFF
images can be viewed locally or on remote workstations, which
will reduce costly interruptions and improve the overall efficiency
of the proofing process. |
HWRoam will display a single separation
or recombine two or more separations into a colour image, this
can then be roamed and magnified to view the halftone dots. It
will handle viewing of spot colours and can highlight where those
colours are overlaid for inspection of trapping, an additional
aspect of HWRoam that is further enhanced when used in conjunction
with software such as the In-RIP trapping solution TrapPro. Such
attention to detail makes HWRoam an indispensable tool in maintaining
the cost-effective running of your company, a reality that will
make wasted plates a thing of the past.
HWRoam is an ideal tool to add to your
Harlequin RIP and complements HighWaters established PixelProof
PC Print Server, which is optimised for producing highquality
colour managed proof prints on inkjet printers.
By offering these facilities at an easily affordable price, client,
colleague and customer can inspect a ripped job simultaneously,
away from the RIP workstation.
We at HighWater are confident that the
return on this diminutive investment will be visible in a matter
of weeks, making HWRoam the most effective practical solution
to saving you valuable time and money.
